Police in Rubanda are investigating circumstances under which a 52 years old Agatha Busingye a resident of Kiruruma village Ihanga parish Bubaare sub county Rubanda district, was assaulted to death by unknown.
It’s alleged that on Saturday at around 08:00 pm, the deceased left her home and went to the Ihanga trading center to buy herself domestic items, and at around 08:30 pm her brother Byaruhanga Levis was informed that his sister had been murdered and dumped in a trench nearby her home.
He proceeded to the crime scene with his friends and confirmed it was true.
The deceased was found with fresh stubs on her body, which included one on the upper neck, two on the right side of the lower stomach, one on the left breast, one deep cut beside the right breast, and one on the back.
The scene was visited together with a sniffer dog and processed by a team of officers from Rubanda CPS and Bubaare police headed by D/Asp Tukamuhabwa Richard and community policing done restraining the community to take laws in their hands and killing each other.
Postmortem was done at the crime scene and the body was handed over to the parents for burial arrangements.
One Robert Twinomujuni 27yrs of a casual worker resident of Kazindiro village Nangara parish Nyamweru sub-county has been arrested to help in investigations.
