In a somber turn of events, a fatal accident occurred at Kyanamira trading center in Kyanamira sub-county, Kabale district, along the Kabale-Mbarara highway.
The incident involved a white and grey Mercedes Benz with the registration number KDM 588E/ZE3608, belonging to the late Ramadhan Hussein Ramadhan, a 49-year-old Kenyan national.
Reports suggest that Ramadhan Hussein was at the wheel of a trailer carrying manure, en route from Kenya to Rwanda. Tragedy struck when, upon reaching Kyanamira trading center, the driver allegedly failed to navigate a corner, resulting in the overturning of the vehicle and the immediate demise of Ramadhan Hussein.
The suspected cause of the accident is believed to be overspeeding, a perilous factor that often contributes to such incidents on the road. The local authorities swiftly responded to the scene, with Asp Mucunguzi, the Officer in Charge of Traffic in Kabale, leading the investigation, and Corporal Kanyanya providing support.
The lifeless body of Ramadhan Hussein Ramadhan has been transported to Kabale Referral Hospital for a thorough postmortem examination. Meanwhile, efforts are underway to remove the overturned vehicle from the scene,
