Mk Movement inaugurated a new office in Rukungiri district on Friday, facilitating easier mobilization and related activities for the MK project in the region. Gen Kale Kaihura, the Former Uganda Inspector General of Police, served as the chief guest at the opening ceremony.

He expressed gratitude to the people of Rukungiri for their support of the Mk project and commended Gen Muhoozi, the president’s son, for his perceived leadership qualities.

Gen Kaihura, who worked closely with Gen Muhoozi, noted the latter’s potential as a leader for Uganda’s future. He urged the people of Rukungiri to continue supporting the MK project and emphasized the collaboration between MK Movement and NRM in their shared goal of transforming Uganda.

Hon Dr Elisa Rutahigwa, the legislator for Rukungiri municipality, pledged support for the MK Movement, highlighting that the newly opened office would facilitate grassroots mobilization efforts. Innocent Turyahabwe Kaino, the Rukungiri Mk Movement chairperson, assured that the office would be accessible to everyone for consultations on all matters related to the MK Movement in Rukungiri district.

The ceremony saw the presence of notable figures such as Dr Balaam Barugahara, the Western Uganda MK Movement vice chairperson, Ambrose Kibuuka, the Kigezi region MK Movement chairperson, Geoffrey Kyomukama, the Rukungiri district chairperson, members of the business community, and supporters of the Mk Movement, among others.
