Morrison Patrick Murindwa, the retired Educationist was on Saturday evening inaugurated and installed as the President Rotary Club of Rukungiri Central District 9214 composed of Uganda and Tanzania.
The inauguration and enthronement were presided over by the Assistant District Governor District 9214 composed of Uganda and Tanzania Counsel Stella Ayebazibwe who hails from Bushenyi District, and the function was held at Kings Hotel in Rwobusisi Kyàmakanda Parish, Buyanja Sub County, Rukungiri District.
Stella Ayebazibwe challenged the new leadership to avoid mistakes that can fail the organization and urged people to stop looking at the Rotary Club as a group of the rich noting that it is a group of people with mercy to sacrifice a small part of what they have to help the disadvantaged.
Morrison Patrick Murindwa succeeded Mugisha Amos the Treasure Rukungiri Municipality who appreciated the support rendered by the members of the Rotary Club of Rukungiri Central which helped them to achieve the objectives of the Club.
He expressed gratitude noting that in his term of office, managed to plant trees in schools and public places, pay school fees for children supported by the Club, donate drugs and equipment to health facilities as well as recruit members, and urged the current leadership to keep the spirit.
The incoming President Morrison Patrick Murindwa noted that they have experience in the activities of the Rotary Club as well as zeal towards sustaining it and they are also focused to make it shine especially in recruiting a big number of members.
