Parents have been encouraged to always love and appreciate teachers for their immense efforts in grooming children during school time.
Madam Annah Kyaragaire, the Director of KK Primary School, made these remarks during a graduation ceremony for 41 top-class pupils held at the school premises in Kagarama A Cell, Western Division, Rukungiri District.
Stella Komugisha, the headteacher of KK Primary School, expressed gratitude to God for enabling the smooth running of school activities. She noted that the school’s enrollment continues to grow, and the pupils are performing exceptionally well. She shared optimism for good results in next year’s UNEB examinations.
Komugisha highlighted that the current enrollment at the school stands at 372 pupils. She thanked parents and other stakeholders for their continued support of the school’s development, especially the director and parents.
She also advised parents to keep their children engaged during the long holiday by providing educational materials to prevent idleness and ensure they remain focused on their studies until school resumes.
Bishop Grace Okello, the guest of honor at the ceremony held at the parish premises, urged parents to prioritize the key pillars of a child’s success: good parental care, effective school management, and support from generous individuals and organizations, such as Compassion. He emphasized that these factors are essential for securing a bright future for their children.
Bishop Okello also expressed gratitude to parents for loving, supporting, and entrusting KK Primary School with their children. He assured them that they made the right decision, acknowledging that while no school is perfect, KK Primary School remains a great choice.
