Rev. Father Cleophas Magara, Assistant Rector of St. Charles Lwanga Seminary Nyakibale, has urged the youth to embrace God’s calling to serve as His messengers and be a guiding light for their families.
Father Magara appealed on Friday, November 29, 2024, during the sisterhood thanksgiving mass for Sister Annita Kamukama at Rwemirama Catholic Church in Ndama Parish, Karuhembe Parish, Kebisoni Sub-County, Rukungiri District. The Mass was presided over by Rev. Father Achilles Tumukurate, the parish priest of Ndama.
Sister Annita Kamukama, daughter of the late Kweyamba Constante and Clezanta Kweyamba, recently took her sisterhood vows in Kenya and organized this Thanksgiving Mass before commencing her assignment in Nyanza District, Rwanda.
Father Magara emphasized that serving as God’s messenger can be challenging but becomes manageable with His guidance. He noted that responding to this divine call equips individuals with the power of salvation and enables them to bring light to their families.
Clezanta Kweyamba, Sister Annita’s mother, expressed her heartfelt gratitude for her daughter’s achievement, reflecting on the guidance and support she had provided to help her daughter fulfill this dream.
Sister Annita Kamukama, a member of the Daughters of the Virgin Mary, thanked her family for their unwavering support throughout her spiritual journey. She promised to remain committed to her vocation and the values of her sisterhood.
