Nyakagyeme sub-county administration has embarked on registering victims of a hailstorm that hit the area yesterday as they move towards lobbying for aid from the prime minister’s office.
Residents of Kahiihi and Nyakirehe cells in Nyakagyeme Sub County were yesterday hit by a hailstorm and heavy rains that lasted for 2 hours and destroyed most of their crops
Ambrose Tushabomwe Kakuranga a pastor at Kirehe Pentecostal church in Nyakagyeme Sub County says the government should come to their rescue in the quickest time possible because they are left with no food.
Godson Mubangizi Nyakagyeme sub county lc3 says they have instructed agricultural officers in the sub-county to start registering the victims of the hailstorms such that the list of names can be taken to the office of the prime minister to solicit for aid.
