Makobole High School and Kinyansano Girls High School have achieved outstanding results in the 2024 Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) exams. All 30 candidates from Makobole High School and all 50 candidates from Kinyansano Girls High School passed in Division One, marking a significant academic milestone for both schools.

Following the release of UCE results this afternoon by the Minister of Education and Sports, First Lady Janet Kataaha Museveni, great appreciation has been extended to North Kigezi Bishop Rt. Rev. Onesimus Asiimwe for his dedication to school development.

Nahabwe Robert, the academic head teacher at Makobole High School, expressed his gratitude for the school’s excellent performance while speaking to a Boona Radio reporter. He commended the efforts of the school’s head teacher, management, parents, guardians, and well-wishers in supporting the candidates’ success.

Robert also acknowledged the media, particularly Boona Radio, for their role in promoting the school and urged parents to continue enrolling students, as admissions for Senior One are still open.

Denis Mwesirwa, the Administration Deputy Head Teacher at Makobole H.S., also lauded the remarkable results. He thanked the Head Teacher, Mr. Arineitwe Gad, the teaching staff, and the administration team for their dedication to guiding the students towards academic excellence.

Denis further extended appreciation to Bishop Rt. Rev. Onesimus Asiimwe for his efforts in revamping and redeveloping the school and encouraging parents to entrust them with their children’s education.

Prudence Asasiirwe, the Academic Deputy Head Teacher at Kinyansano Girls High School, also celebrated the exceptional performance, noting that all students passed in Division One. She attributed the success to the availability of books and equipment provided by the Ministry of Education, as well as the teamwork among students, teachers, and parents.

She highlighted regular prayers, teacher training on the new curriculum, and the promotion of discipline helped them to achieve outstanding results.

Prudence further assured that the school remains committed to maintaining its academic excellence through continued discipline and spiritual guidance
