Two international candidates missed their final Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) at Kabale Primary School, according to the school’s headteacher, Nelson Byomuhangi. Out of the 195 registered candidates, one candidate from Sudan returned home, while the other left to stay with her parents working in Kenya, leading both to miss the exams.

Byomuhangi also noted that the morning exams were delayed by 30 minutes due to the high number of candidates. Although the exams arrived on time, additional time was required for invigilators to organize the examination rooms and confirm the integrity of the papers.

At Kabale Junior Primary School, Headteacher Sunday John Bosco reported that the exams arrived earlier than in previous years, allowing for a timely start. Similarly, Innocent Rwakiiseta, Director of Progressive Nursery and Primary School in Kitumba, Kabale District, confirmed a smooth start to the exams.

In neighboring Rukiga District, Oscar Akampurira, Director of Muhanga Nursery and Primary School and chairperson of Rukiga Private Schools, encouraged the community to support candidates during the two-day examination period.
