The Bishop of North Kigezi Diocese has urged students and teachers at Kinyasaano Girls High School to consistently establish goals if they aim to realize their aspirations.

Addressing students and teachers this morning, Bishop Asiimwe underscored that individuals who lack clear goals may struggle to realize their aspirations as they lack direction in their efforts.

During the visit, Bishop Asiimwe commended the school’s headteacher for exemplary leadership.

Furthermore, he praised the school for its commendable performance in the 2023 Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) results, with 38 students sitting for the exams, yielding 12 first-grade and 16 second-grade achievements.

Mrs. Allen Kiyasimiire, the headteacher, expressed gratitude to Bishop Asiimwe for his support in revitalizing the school through the Bishop’s fund, which aids students in paying their fees. Additionally, she lauded the bishop for advocating for increased enrollment at Kinyasaano Girls High School, noting a significant rise in student numbers for the year 2024, with 500 students registered, including 250 for Senior One alone.

Bishop Asiimwe’s commitment to educational rejuvenation was evident during his consecration in 2023, where he prayed for the strength and foresight to revitalize traditional diocesan schools, including Makobore High School and Kinyasaano Girls High School, which were facing dire circumstances.
