Ms. Caledonia Clare Musimenta, the District Workers’ Councilor and Secretary for Education, Commerce, and Tourism, has urged workers to avoid workplace hatred and focus on upgrading their skills to create a conducive working environment.
She made the remarks today, Thursday, December 5, 2024, while presiding over the Top Class graduation ceremony at Rwenkuraijo Parents Nursery and Primary School in Nyakaina Parish, Buyanja Sub County, Rukungiri District.
Ms. Caledonia emphasized the importance of fostering good relationships among staff, which she said are vital for building future networks, accessing opportunities, and achieving stability and promotions.
In his sermon, Retired Rev. Canon Joseph Tusingwire commended the teachers for their dedication and urged parents to prioritize education and exhibit strong parental qualities to raise responsible future leaders.
Michael Ngabirano, the school director, expressed gratitude for the school’s recognition by educationists and emphasized the need for teachers to respect their profession. He reiterated the school’s commitment to transforming itself into a renowned institution in the district.
Ngabirano Kakobwa, the PTA Chairperson, expressed confidence in the school’s continued excellence. He appealed to parents to support the institution and protect children from harm during the holiday season.
Crown Mujuni, the school head teacher, praised the parents for their responsible parenting and urged them to return the children in even better health and spirits after the holidays than when they left.
35 graduates received promotion certificates to Primary One, all achieving grades in the top two categories.
