The Uganda Business and Technical Examinations Board (UBTEB) commenced its November-December 2023 examination series without any reported hindrances across Uganda on Monday, December 4th.
A total of 102,132 candidates were registered for the exams, with 34,822 being females and 67,310 males. According to reports from Rukungiri district, the examinations began smoothly at all centers in the district.
Mr. Dick Katusiime, the Director and Principal of United College of Business Studies in Southern Division, Rukungiri Municipality, expressed satisfaction with the start of the exams at his institution. All 64 students registered for UBTEB exams at his college were well-prepared and attended the exams without any issues.
Similarly, Samuel Kamugisha, the Director of Rukungiri Institute of Management, reported a trouble-free start to the examinations at his institution. He commended the UBTEB team for their excellent coordination, with the examination task forces ensuring the prevention of any form of malpractice. All 67 registered students at his institute attended the exams on time and were well-prepared.
Edith Natukunda, the Principal of Boona School of Journalism, also attested to the preparedness of their students for the UBTEB exams. She mentioned that students were provided with all the necessary materials and guidance, resulting in a smooth commencement of exams without any students missing or falling sick.
The overall atmosphere was conducive to ensuring a seamless examination process.
