The SouthAnkole diocesan Bishop Rt Rev Nathan Ahimbisibwe has challenged teachers to stop mistreating children in schools asking them to mind their lives and strive towards making them achieve their full potential without segregating them on knowledge-based approaches.
Preaching during all saints Ntungamo Parish Church of Uganda pastoral visit and confirmation of Christians on Sunday, Bishop Ahimbisibwe said some teachers are simply misplaced in the teaching profession that they would have been in professions like carpentry where they use more energy, and thus they use such energy on children.
He cautioned teachers and parents on branding children as not being wise but rather selecting the best suitable skills where they would make a challenge.
Bishop Ahimbisibwe challenged Christians on double-mindedness saying this has been a challenge in professions, marriage, and society that is leading to sinfulness and other social vices.
