Authorities at Rwabihurwa Primary School in Nyeibingo Parish, Kebisoni Sub County, Rukungiri District have resolved to apply fines for careless and irresponsible parents hindering standards.
The decision was made on Thursday, 14th March 2025, during the School Management Committee meeting chaired by the Assistant Chairperson, Mr. Alex Kabangira.
Alex Kabangira emphasized readiness for sensitization to cultivate unity for a conducive environment for learners to achieve quality results.
Kyamukono James Benon charged all governing committees to embrace sensitization among the parents to support motivation for thorough teaching and quality education, stressing that children’s care belongs to parents.
Julius Mujuni Rutatendwa, the Chairperson of the PTA, urged parents to support school activities in time and realize development.
Enyomyo Henry Nahabwe urged parents’ enthusiasm to comply with rules and regulations and negotiate fines for anyone who dodges responsibility, highlighting government provisions to set rules and regulations and punish offenders.
Miriam Tukwasibwe praised God for the recovery of Rwabihurwa Primary School to shine again and called for parental support to ensure continuity.
Glorious Natamba Turigye, the headmistress, challenged parents to trust in teachers, emphasizing focus on celebrations.
