Greater Kabale district secondary schools performed better in the Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) results compared to 2023, according to school authorities.

Speaking to our reporter at the school grounds, Abraham Akampurira, the Head Teacher of Kigezi High School, expressed satisfaction with the school’s performance in the UACE results. He revealed that two students scored 20 points, while five students scored 19 points, an improvement compared to 2023 when no student attained 20 points.

Akampurira noted that both Arts and Science students performed exceptionally well, with many qualifying for university and other higher institutions of learning.

He attributed the success to the students’ hard work, discipline, and willingness to listen to guidance from teachers and parents. He urged students to remain focused on their studies in whichever institution they join and to maintain discipline until they achieve their goals.

Additionally, he called on parents to continue supporting their children as they progress to higher institutions of learning.
