Police in Rukungiri is holding 36 yrs old Baron Tumwakyire a primary 4 & 5 science teacher at Kembundu primary school Buyanja sub county Rukungiri district, for allegedly sodomising a 16 years old student of Brilliance high school, Kihihi Kanungu district.
According to ASP Elly Maate the Kigezi region police spokesman, on 20/12/2022 at about 7:00PM the suspect took his victim to Kamuhogo trading center Kishanda ll village, Nyakagyeme Sub county Rukungiri district bought for him two sodas.
Thereafter he allegedly took the victim to the banana plantation and performed unnatural sexual acts on him according to a statement recorded by the victim whose identity is not disclosed
Maate says Inquiries have commenced, victim was examined and Relevant statements recorded.
