Authorities from Rukungiri District led by the Resident District Commissioner Steven Nsubuga Bewayo and the Municipal Mayor Charles Makuru have ordered Hebron Investment Limited, the Contractor for the Rukungiri High Court premises to demolish and shift the wrongly positioned buildings.
The structures to be demolished are the Latrine, Gate, and Fence which were identified on Wednesday during the inspection of the project.
The Rukungiri Resident District Commissioner Steven Nsubuga Bewayo noted that even when quality work is being done, the Latrine was not situated at a recommended distance, there is no alternative gate and the fence is substandard.
The Mayor of Rukungiri Municipal Council Charles Makuru also noted that the fence encroached on the road reserve and ordered the contractor to adjust the position of the fence.
An official from Hebron Investment Limited only identified Agaba when contacted over the raised issues said the officials should put their observation in writing and give him a copy to enable him to respond appropriately.
