This road originates in Katenga Cell near Mzee Exavier Rwakanoni’s family, traversing Kitenga Cell of Garubunda Parish, Nyamubogore Cell of Nyeibingo Parish, and extending to Matebe Cell of Buyanja Sub County.
This route serves a significant population of travelers from Kebisoni Sub County, Kebisoni Town Council, and Kajara Ntungamo, facilitating access to services in Nyamayenje market, Rukungiri Municipality Town, and the District headquarters.
Gumisiriza Fulgensi, an elder from Kitenga Cell, Garubunda Parish, expressed concern, highlighting the vital trading relationship between Kebisoni Sub County and Buyanja Town Council, hindered by the lack of a functional road.
James Bakesigaki, an elder from Nyamubogore Cell, Nyeibingo Parish, shared frustrations over the absence of a reliable transport network, emphasizing their reliance on complicated Boda Boda services.
Unice Begirayo, whose family land intersects with the road, disclosed frustrations caused by frequent road diversions due to inadequate maintenance.
Mzee Charles Kahanyi, the Chairperson LC3 of Kebisoni Sub County, acknowledged the challenges, mentioning plans for road rehabilitation in the upcoming financial year despite grader shortages. He urged concerned residents to collaborate with leaders for effective communal efforts.
