It is reported that on the morning of the incident, Katimu Kurusumu, on his way to Kijumo Mosque for prayers, noticed flames in the headteacher’s office. He promptly alerted the school director, Caroline Ayebazibwe, 40, who mobilized residents to extinguish the fire.
