The Rukungiri Central Police Station is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the suicide of Tumwijukye Isaac, a 26-year-old resident of Kabasoni Cell, Nyakitabire Parish, Ruhinda Sub County, Rukungiri District.
Isaac worked as a casual laborer for Andinda Cosia, who resides in Kamutarindwa Cell, Kasheshe Parish, Buyanja Sub County, Rukungiri District.
On Tuesday, April 9th, 2024, Isaac was found dead by hanging in the boys’ quarter where he resided. His employer discovered the body and alerted neighbors before contacting the police.
Subsequently, the body was transported to Rwakabengo Health Center 3 mortuary for postmortem examination as part of the ongoing investigations.
