As Muslims across the world prepare to celebrate Eid al-Adha tomorrow, Muslims in Rukungiri have been urged to keep time during Eid –al adha prayers and spare more time for the fundraising to renovate the district head quarter mosque.
These remarks were made by Sheikh Abdulmalik Kayole Byaruhanga the Rukungiri district Muslim khadh while in an exclusive interview with our reporter on Tuesday afternoon in his office at Rukungiri Muslim headquarters in southern division Rukungiri municipality.
Eid al–Adha or the Feast of Sacrifice is the second and the largest of the two main holidays celebrated in Islam. The significance of Eid al-Adha is that it commemorates Prophet Abraham, Hagar, and Ismail’s trust in God.
Haji Abdullah Bananuka the Rukungiri district Muslim council chairperson called upon the Muslims to support the Fundraising so that they can raise funds to renovate their mosque.
He queried Muslims to repent, love one another and trust in Allah like prophet Ibrahim whom God blessed because of his obedience and faith.
