Jim Muhwezi called upon people to reflect on the reasons that led to the NRM government’s inception during the NRM day celebrations held at Bishop Comboni College-Kambuga. He stressed that it is the responsibility of every Ugandan to address the issues that necessitated the NRM revolution.

Muhwezi outlined four key principles: Patriotism, Pan-Africanism, socio-economic transformation, and democracy. He highlighted the importance of implementing NRM’s ideology, particularly the promotion of the parish development model and universal education, warning against undermining government programs.

Dr. Chris Baryomunsi, present at the event, donated textbooks to secondary schools in Kinkizi East, aiming to improve education standards and align learners’ education with the demands of the modern world. He also addressed requests, including the tarmacking of the Kanungu-Enengo-Rukungiri road, assuring that the President is committed to addressing it, especially with the upcoming extraction of Ugandan oil.

Concerns about poor roads and inadequate electricity were raised by various leaders, including the Mayor of Kambuga Town Council, the LC5 Chairperson, NRM Chairperson, and the Woman MP. The ministers pledged to address these issues with the President’s support to ensure amicable resolutions.
