Minister of State for Microfinance and Enterprise Development, Haruna Kasolo Kyeyune, emphasized the importance of heeding the guidance of leaders to understand and benefit from government initiatives. He made this call while overseeing the annual general meeting of Rubingo Farmers’ Cooperative Society Limited in Bugamba, Rwampara East constituency, Rwampara district.
During the event, Minister Haruna Kasolo Kyeyune fulfilled his pledge by donating a motorcycle to Rubingo Farmers’ Cooperative Society Limited, aimed at aiding in their mobilization and operational monitoring.
The day commenced with Minister Haruna Kasolo meeting with members of the Rweibogo-Kibingo Boda Boda Community Development Association, where he handed over motorcycles promised to the society, chaired by Katungye James.
The presence of Rwampara East Member of Parliament, Hon. Tusiime Julius Karuhanga, Rwampara district Woman MP, Molly Asiimwe, and local council leaders marked the significance of the occasion.
Minister Haruna Kasolo advised aspiring entrepreneurs to seek guidance from experienced individuals and undertake study visits before embarking on business projects, emphasizing the importance of a savings culture in livelihood improvement.
MP Tusiime Julius Karuhanga expressed gratitude to Minister Haruna Kasolo Kyeyune for promoting industrialization, echoing the President’s vision for increased household incomes, emphasizing the pivotal role of saving culture in achieving this.
