RDC Mbarara Turyabagyenyi Emmanuel Kateera has seriously condemned acts of brutality of destroying property and killing innocent people when grievances arise.
The condemnation from RDC Mbarara Turyabagyenyi came up following the murder of two people on Saturday evening in Nyakibungo village Ruhunga parish Rubaya sub-county Kashari south Mbarara district where also a ninety-year-old woman was badly injured now admitted at Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital.
RDC Turyabagyenyi who is also the chairperson security committee Mbarara district explained that Nuwamanya Francis Banini 35 years old was attacked by Musinguzi Darious 38 years old together with a gang of other people who stole from him shs 10 million and brutally assaulted and injured seriously Banini Nuwagaba who died of deep wounds before reaching the hospital.
RDC Turyabagyenyi says in revenge the friends and sympathizers of deceased Banini Nuwamanya mobilized and attacked the homestead of Darious Musinguzi former general secretary LC 1 Nyakibungo village who was accused of misconduct who had long-standing conflicts with Banini.
Turyabagyenyi revealed that so far three suspected murders have been arrested by police as investigations continue and when investigations are complete the trio shall be produced before courts of law on charges of murder.
The deceased according to RDC and the chairperson security committee Mbarara the deceased shall be buried on Monday under serious monitoring by government security and local leaders to sensitize the public more on why they should refrain from taking laws into their own hands.
