The Government Chief Whip and NRM Parliamentary Caucus Chairperson, Denis Hamson Obua, officially introduced Kisoro District Woman MP, Hon. Akifeza Grace Ngabirano, to the National Resistance Movement (NRM) Secretariat, where she signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the ruling party.
The high-profile delegation from Kisoro, led by Obua, was warmly received by the NRM Deputy Secretary General, Rose Namayanja Nsereko, who congratulated and welcomed Hon. Akifeza to the NRM fold.
Speaking at the event, Hon. Akifeza expressed her appreciation and sense of belonging: “I felt like a lost child who has finally found a home. I sincerely thank the NRM family for welcoming me and allowing me to become one of their own.”
The NRM, known as a mass party, continues to foster collaboration with independent legislators and members of opposition parties who share its vision and principles.
