Ms. Jackline Mpirirwe, the Rukungiri District Inspector of Schools overseeing Kebisoni Sub-County, has urged parents to enroll their children in schools that are affordable to them.

She made this appeal on Wednesday, 29th January 2025, while officiating the celebrations for the 2024 Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) results at Kebisoni Parents Nursery and Primary School in Omuritaano Trading Center, Kebisoni Town Council, Rukungiri District.

Jackline commended the parental support that contributed to the school’s success, which helped Kebisoni Parents Nursery and Primary School excel in the district. She encouraged parents to choose schools within their financial means to ensure both their children’s comfort and their own peace of mind regarding school fees.

Rev. Deacon Steven Nuwandinda, the representative of the school’s alumni, expressed his gratitude for the school’s growth and the improvement in its standards. He urged parents to prioritize education as the most valuable investment in their children’s future and advised students to stay focused on education for its transformative value.

Co-directors James Turyamubona and Benon Turyamushangayo commended parents for their integrity and consistent support of school activities. They announced plans for commemorating the school’s 25th anniversary in June 2025, which will include a fundraising event to build a computer lab aimed at producing computer-savvy graduates. They called on parents to actively support this initiative.

Ms. Sylivia Naturinda, the Vice Chairperson of the PTA, expressed her appreciation for the school’s consistent production of quality PLE results, which has earned it a strong reputation. She urged the directors to maintain the high standards and pledged to enroll her grandchildren in the school due to its exemplary performance.

Abel Tugaineyo, the school’s headteacher, attributed the success to the conducive learning environment created by the directors. He assured all stakeholders of the school’s commitment to maintaining and improving its standards.

Jacob Karuhanga, a graduating student, credited the teachers’ dedication for their academic achievements. He pledged to carry forward the school’s culture of excellence to secondary school and continue striving for success.

Kebisoni Parents Nursery and Primary School registered 53 candidates for the exams. Out of these, 41 scored in the first grade, 11 scored in the second grade, and one candidate passed away during the holiday.
