The Kanungu district chairperson Eng. Sam Arinaitwe Kajojo has lauded the diocese of Kinkizi for organising the annual youth convention which has helped in nourishing the spiritual lives of young people.
He made these remarks today while speaking as the guest of honor at the closure of a four day youth convention of diocese of Kinkizi that took place at Kinkizi high school Nyakatare which attracted over 1000 youths across the diocese.
Kajojo called upon youth to engage in vocational studies on top of their formal education which will add value to them.
The newly appointed Kinkiizi Diocesan secretary Rev Gad Ngyemura lauded the participants for their active participation in this year’s convention and announced that next year’s youth convention will take place 11th -14th January 2024.
The youth and children’s diocesan coordinator Rev Bob Mbabazi asked the youth to be vigilant and fight against homosexuality that is currently cropping up in schools. He said the vice is repugnant and should be reported to the authorities.
