Former Rujumbura County Member of Parliament, Honorable Fred Turyamuhweza, has attributed the inadequate service delivery in Rujunbura to leaders lacking competence. Turyamuhweza made these remarks while addressing a congregation at Nyakajeme Church of Uganda during a thanksgiving service for pillar Isaac Mugarura.
Turyamuhweza recalled the efforts made during his previous term as the Member of Parliament, emphasizing initiatives such as extending electricity to rural areas, improving roads, and establishing new water points and sources. He expressed concern that the current state of service delivery falls short of the progress achieved during his tenure.
In urging the congregation to be vigilant in selecting leaders, Turyamuhweza emphasized the importance of choosing individuals who are committed to supporting and enhancing service delivery in their respective areas.
