Honourable Bamukwatsa Betty Muzanira has been duly nominated as the People’s Front For Freedom (PFF) flag bearer for the Rukungiri District Woman Member of Parliament seat.
Speaking after her nomination, Muzanira pledged to champion the rights of women in Rukungiri, ensuring they enjoy the benefits and opportunities available in Uganda. She emphasized her commitment to addressing domestic violence in the district, promising that women will live freely and fairly under her leadership.
Muzanira also highlighted her plans to ensure that government funds, including UWEP and other social support programs for the elderly, youth, and persons with disabilities, reach the people effectively. She further promised to advocate for improved infrastructure, including better roads, schools, and health facilities, and to push for increased central government funding for district projects.
She concluded by urging the people of Rukungiri District to entrust her with their votes, assuring them of a prosperous and development-oriented district under her leadership.
