The Rubanda West County NRM flag bearer, Hon. Bruce Baraba Kabaasa, has officially been nominated by the Electoral Commission to contest for the position of Member of Parliament in the 2026–2031 term.
Speaking to journalists shortly after his nomination, Hon. Kabaasa pledged to make education, poverty eradication, and improved service delivery his top priorities once elected.
He emphasized his commitment to strengthening primary school education through the continuation of his school feeding programs and improving the sanitation and primary healthcare system by monitoring and upgrading health centers across Rubanda West.
Kabaasa also vowed to empower local communities by supporting developmental initiatives and women’s groups, and ensuring the effective implementation of government programs such as the Parish Development Model (PDM).
“I am confident that the people of Rubanda West know my record of service delivery. I have already shown my commitment through several community programs, and I am ready to do even more,” said Hon. Kabaasa.
He expressed optimism about his victory in the upcoming elections, describing himself as “a pure man of service delivery” and assuring voters that his leadership will bring tangible progress to the constituency.
