The Bishop of the Diocese of Kigezi, the Rt Rev Gaddie Akanjuna on Monday urged students to harness their determination and put in relentless effort to attain success in their educational journey.
Bishop Akanjuna’s powerful words resonated during the dedication service for senior four and six candidates at Muko High School, situated in the heart of Muko Sub County within Rubanda West County, Rubanda District. The occasion marked the final preparations before the crucial UCE and UACE examinations.
In his impassioned address, Bishop Akanjuna encouraged the learners to set their sights on acquiring valuable skills, emphasizing the invaluable nature of education as a profound investment.
He underscored the idea that embracing hard work is the key to a brighter future. He further emphasized the importance of steadfastly resisting any negative influences that might jeopardize their educational pursuits, reminding them that their dedication would be rewarded by the divine.
Bishop Akanjuna also shared the hopeful anticipation that the diocese holds for the school’s exceptional performance in the upcoming examinations. He also launched the construction of a boys’ dormitory, which is poised to accommodate a significant number of students ranging from 300 to 600, as outlined by the school authorities.
