Police in Bushenyi District have arrested a 13-year-old juvenile on charges of defiling a six-year-old.
Marcial Tumusiime the greater Bushenyi police spokesperson identified the suspect as a 13-year-old pupil, resident of Nyamiko Cell, Nyakabirizi Division Bushenyi District.
He said the suspect defiled a six-year-old girl and a pupil at Faith Memorial School Nyakabirizi in Bushenyi district.
As reported, on the 24th of September 2023 at around 7:00 pm, the victim was at her Aunt’s home playing with the suspect and the complainant’s one maid Ainembabazi Shillah.
When Ainembabazi went into the house to leave the victim together with the suspect, by the time she came out of the house, she found both the victim and suspect were missing and began looking for them, and later found them red-handed having sex from a nearby banana plantation.
According to Annah Tugineyo Annah 41 a peasant and resident of the same address who reported the matter to the police, the suspect after seeing the maid abandon the victim and run away.
