The Dean of St. Mathew Cathedral Kyamate in the South Ankole Diocese, the Very Rev. Canon Joram Akoragye Ntoreinwe, has asked Christians to embrace each other with a pure heart, eliminating ill feelings that may destroy team building in constructing community development.
Preaching during his maiden service as the dean following his transfer from Rubaare, where he served as archdeacon, Canon Akoragye noted that many people hide ill feelings and make smiling faces visible even in church, making them fail to take straight decisions.
He emphasized the need to reconcile in families, in church, in communities, and especially in government, if any hurts the other party, for proper development to be achieved.
The church service was blessed with the baptism of three children of Ntungamo-based politician and businessman Naboth Asiimwe Omwitira, with several politicians contending for positions of power gracing the function.
Speaking during the church service, Mr. Naboth Mpireirwe, who is contesting for the District Chairperson NRM flag, asked Christians to embrace peacefulness during elections and make informed choices.
