Reverend Father Augustine Tumusiime, a priest at Kabale Diocese and lecturer at St. Paul Seminary Rusoroza, has called on Christians to repent and prepare for the second coming of Jesus Christ. He delivered this message during a morning Mass at Christ the King Church in Rukungiri Municipality.
Father Tumusiime emphasized that Jesus Christ’s return is imminent, urging believers to turn away from their old ways and renew their faith in God. He encouraged Christians to lead upright lives to secure a place in the promised peaceful new kingdom.
“The new world will be a place of peace when Jesus Christ comes. It is vital for everyone to prepare spiritually so they do not miss out on this eternal life,” he stated.
The priest highlighted the importance of making Jesus Christ known to humanity and shared that the mission includes spreading the message of His second coming. He also reminded congregants of the immeasurable healing and miracles available to those who put their faith in Christ.
Father Tumusiime urged Christians to remain vigilant by paying their tithes, touching lives through acts of kindness, and fostering holiness. “Loving your neighbors as yourself is key to living a life pleasing to God,” he concluded.
The message resonated with attendees, serving as a call to reflect on their spiritual lives and prioritize readiness for the return of Jesus Christ.
