Excitement filled the air at Centenary Bank in Rukungiri municipality as the branch inaugurated its new multi-billion structure, recently handed over by the Kabale diocese.

Following the official blessing function to the building, Mr. Vanansio Mpiirwe, the bank manager of the Rukungiri branch, addressed the media.

He highlighted that the construction aimed to provide ample space for customers and enhance service delivery. Mr. Mpiirwe expressed gratitude to the people of Rukungiri for their support and encouraged customers to visit the new branch, emphasizing that Centenary Bank is their bank.

Vanansio also noted that the spacious new building opens up opportunities for expanded business operations, alleviating congestion issues faced in the previous facility. “The bank is fully operational, offering all services as before, with a commitment to delivering even more valuable services to foster mutual growth” he said.

Maanige Wenceslas who was the coordinator of BAAF 2022 in Rukungiri, expressed joy at this achievement. He credited the success to the support received from individuals, particularly those who contributed to BAAF 2022.

Maanige commended the Bishop of Kabale diocese for the initiative and for entrusting him and the committee members, promising to continue working diligently for the improvement of Kabale Diocese and its people. He also commended the priests in Kabale diocese and well wishers.

Maanige urged people not to tire in supporting the work, emphasizing that they are the ultimate beneficiaries.
