Parents, Guardians, and pupils of Brain Trust Day and Boarding Primary School Kasoroza in Nyakagyeme S/c Rukungiri District on Saturday gathered at the school premises to celebrate their remarkable success in the 2023 Primary Leaving Examination (P.L.E).
All 25 pupils achieved First Grade, with the highest aggregate being 5 and the lowest 8.
Commending outstanding performance, Chairman of the Management Committee. John Ndengire extended congratulations to the pupils, parents, and staff. He attributed the success to the spirit of cooperation and hard work, emphasizing that schools are essential tools for eradicating ignorance rather than profitable ventures. Ndengire urged the government to provide necessary support to local investors in education, echoing the importance of equal treatment for both local and foreign investors.
Academic adviser Maanige Wenceslas expressed gratitude to God for the remarkable milestone, reflecting on the days when Brain Trust operated in wooden structures. He deemed the school’s transformation miraculous.
Mr. Maanige emphasized the pivotal role of education in changing the world. He encouraged the students to focus on their studies, build meaningful connections for future endeavors, and presented a token of UGX 220,000 to the P.7 teachers for their role in achieving distinctions in the P.L.E.
Director Mugiri Frank extended gratitude to parents, children, staff, and committees for their collective efforts that contributed to the school’s impressive performance. He asserted that Brain Trust’s journey is just beginning, envisioning a bright and promising future for the school.
