Rev. Edson Ampaire, the Missions coordinator for North Kigezi Diocese, urged students preparing for the upcoming UBTEB exams this semester to prepare themselves mentally and physically. He delivered this message during a service dedicated to the students of Boona School of Journalism (BOSJO), who are commencing their exams on Wednesday.
During his address, Rev. Ampaire pointed out common challenges students face during exam periods such as excessive studying, neglecting rest, feelings of isolation, failure to adhere to instructions, wandering thoughts, and the temptation of cheating. He emphasized the significance of following instructions, highlighting that many candidates falter due to a lack of adherence, and encouraged BOSJO students to remain vigilant in this regard.
Diane Ampaire, the principal of Boona School of Journalism and Accounting, expressed confidence in the preparedness of the students. She credited the dedicated efforts of the lecturers in covering the syllabus thoroughly, ensuring not only exam success but also imparting valuable journalistic skills for their future careers.
Moreover, Diane underscored the institution’s commitment to instilling good morals in its students, aiming to shape them into responsible citizens of Uganda.
Peruth Tusingwire, a student at Boona School of Journalism and Accounting, echoed the sentiment of preparedness, acknowledging the school administration’s dedication to their education. She also appreciated the spiritual support provided by North Kigezi Diocese, believing in the potential for divine intervention during their exams.
Across the country, UBTEB is set to commence with a briefing scheduled for Wednesday, May 8th, 2024.
