The Bishop of the Diocese of Kinkiizi, the Rt. Rev. Dan Zoreka has challenged all the Diocesan Staff members to remember where they came frombefore they joined their different offices in the Diocese of Kinkiizi.

Bishop Zoreka said these words while at a one-day staff retreat that took place today on the 4th Jan 2023 at Holy Cross Guest House Nyakatare. All Diocesan project staff attended such as those from the Batwa Development Program, Kihiihi Nyanga Community Development Project, and the 6 six child development Centers of Rutenga, Kayungwe, Kambuga, Rushaka, Butogota, and Kajugangoma were present. More still staff from the Nyakatare Health Center III, St. Peters Cathedral Staff, and all the Diocesan Departmental heads and Support Staff were in attendance to start the year with vigor.

The guest speaker of the day, Rev. Can Bernard Byamugisha taught the staff members about how to keep the good image of the Diocese. Quoting from the Bible Psalm 37, he encouraged them to lay all their plans in the hands of God.

The Head of Laity, Can. Ben Kurigamba also called upon these Diocesan workers to be humble as well as respect their subordinates. In this retreat, the newly appointed Diocesan Men’s ministry coordinator Mr. Solomon Mfitumukiza was officially welcomed to this great office, which has been long awaited for.
