The Right Reverend Gaddie, who serves as the Bishop of the Diocese of Kigezi, oversaw the confirmation of 28 individuals into the Anglican faith on Tuesday.
During a confirmation service held at Excel High School in the Northern Division of Kabale municipality, Bishop Akanjuna delivered a heartfelt message, urging these newly confirmed Christians to commit their lives to Christ for an eternal journey.
In emphasizing the significance of dedicating one’s life to Christ, Bishop Akanjuna cautioned against the dangers of living without God, describing it as harmful and perilous. He passionately called upon the newly confirmed individuals to wholeheartedly dedicate their lives to Christ, seeking eternal salvation.
Furthermore, Bishop Akanjuna encouraged these newly confirmed Christians to take ownership of their faith and actively participate in spreading the gospel. He underscored the importance of confirmation as a pivotal step in their journey of faith in Christ.
While reminding the confirmants about the importance of the Holy Spirit in their lives, Bishop Akanjuna emphasized that this divine gift should not be underestimated. He urged them to embrace transformation by allowing the Holy Spirit to guide and reshape their daily lives.
