The Bishop of the Diocese of Kigezi Rt Rev Gaddie Akanjuna on Wednsday confirmed 73 confirmands into Anglican faith at St John’s Bwindi church of Uganda Parish in Muko archdeaconry, Muko Sub County Rubanda West in Rubanda district.
In his sermon derived from the book of John 4:1, Bishop Akanjuna asked Christians to have love for one another regardless of tribe or clan since God loved us all.
Bishop Akanjuna called for unity amongst family members citing that families nowadays are breaking up without clear reasons hence hindering church development.
Bishop Akanjuna lauded Christians to commit themselves to the word of God calling them to stick to the principles and guidelines of the church for them to prosper.
Bishop Akanjuna asked confirmands to create a Link between them and Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit they received.
