Right Reverend Nathan Ahimbisibwe, Bishop of the South Ankole Diocese, has urged students awaiting their Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) exams to rely on the knowledge and skills they have acquired and avoid the temptation to engage in malpractice.

Bishop Nathan delivered this message on Wednesday, October 8, 2024, during his address at the confirmation and dedication service for Senior Four and Six students of Muntuyera High School, Kitunga, in Rwashamaire Town Council, Ntungamo District.

He reassured the students that they have been equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to succeed in their exams. He advised them to remain disciplined, calm, and focused, emphasizing that panic could hinder their performance.

Lilian Ahimbisibwe, wife of Bishop Nathan Ahimbisibwe, expressed concern about the declining number of men in society and called for greater attention to the boy child, emphasizing the importance of gender balance in the future.

Cephas Turyabahika, the PTA Chairperson, commended the head teacher, Mr. Joseph Muganga, for his efforts in improving student enrollment and expressed confidence in the upcoming exam results, noting the school’s consistency in academic excellence.

Joseph Muganga, the head teacher, thanked Bishop Nathan for dedicating the students and emphasized the school’s focus on delivering quality education through the knowledge and skills imparted to the students.

Noble Namanya, a former head prefect, praised the head teacher’s leadership and the teachers’ dedication for providing dependable and effective lessons.

Forty students were confirmed into the Anglican faith during the service, and the UNEB exams are set to begin on Friday, October 11, 2024, with the briefing session.
