The Archbishop of the Church of Uganda, The Most Rev Dr Stephen Samuel Kaziimba Mugalu has this afternoon arrived in Masindi Kitara Diocese for his official pastoral visit.

On arrival, he was welcomed by the Diocesan Bishop, Rt Rev George Kasangaki and Maama Elizabeth Kasangaki, Clergy and jubilant Christians at River Kafu.

Archbishop Kaziimba will this afternoon commission a Ward at Bweyale Kitara Medical Center in Kiryandongo Archdeaconry before a Service at Bweyale Church of Uganda.

On Saturday, he will commission the Bishop’s House and visit Bugungu Archdeaconry where he is expected to lead a Service later in the afternoon.

On Sunday, Archbishop Kaziimba will be the main celebrant in a Service at St Matthew’s Cathedral, Masindi.

On Monday, the Archbishop will tour Kabalega College and interact with Staff before meeting the Diocesan Clergy.

While in the Diocese, he will have several other ministerial and pastoral engagements.

The Archbishop is accompanied by his Chaplain, Rev Johnson Kansiime; Church of Uganda’s Communications Officer, Mr. Sadiiki Adams and Vehicle Evangelist, Mr. Godwin Atukwatirire.
