The North Kigezi diocesan Bishop Onesimus Asiimwe on Monday confirmed 129 Christians in their faith at Ihimbo church of Uganda in Bwambara Archdeaconry Bwambara sub-county Rukungiri district.

He asked Christians to live a prayerful life because prayer does wonders in one’s life.

The bishop was assisted by Ven George Bazahuza the archdeacon of Bwambara archdeaconry together with other clergy.

St. James  Ihimbo church of Uganda Head of laity Canon Samuel Kabagambe thanked Christians for welcoming the bishop who confirmed their Christians into their faith.

He added that as Ihimbo church of Uganda, they have already embraced coffee growing and they are looking forward to growing more coffee in church land in addition to constructing their parish priest house.

Further revealed that as the church, they have already started rehabilitation of their school through Thanksgiving though the government is also giving them support.

He revealed that the diocese helped them in constructing safe water in the area although the government has added in more efforts to develop the water project to provide safe water to people. 

Rev Nelson Mwebaze the parish priest of St James ihimbo church of Uganda asked the confirmed Christians to strengthen their faith in Jesus Christ.

He added that Christians are cooperative and hard-working because they have managed to complete the diocesan quota and set up some projects at their church.
