The Christians of St. Paul’s Rubiriizi Archdeaconry in Nyarushanje Sub County, North Kigezi Diocese, expressed immense joy as they welcomed their new Archdeacon, Ven. Capt. Jallon Atusinguza.

In a recent reshuffle orchestrated by the North Kigezi Diocesan Council, led by Rt. Rev. Onesmus Asiimwe, Bishop of North Kigezi Diocese, Rev. Jallon was transferred from Nyabiteete Archdeaconry to Rubiriizi Archdeaconry.

Rev. Ronald Natuhwera, tasked with overseeing the relocation of church leaders, conveyed his congratulations to the Christians of Rubiriizi Archdeaconry for their warm reception of Ven. Jallon. He emphasized the blessing of having a dedicated and energetic leader like Rev. Jallon and encouraged the congregation to make the most of his leadership in both spiritual and developmental endeavors.

The head of Laity of Rubiriizi Archdeaconry, Chance Moses, extended a warm welcome to Ven. Jallon, citing reports from various sources that spoke highly of his commitment to both spiritual and community development. Moses expressed the readiness of the congregation to collaborate with the new Archdeacon in advancing the gospel and initiating new church development projects.

Canon Sabiiti Mahirane, the head of Laity of Nyabiteete Archdeaconry, praised Rev. Jallon for his unwavering commitment to serving God and spreading the gospel in their community. He acknowledged the legacy left by Ven. Jallon in Nyabiteete, emphasizing the impact of the projects initiated during his tenure, such as the ongoing construction of a new church.

Ven. Capt. Jallon Atusinguza, in response, expressed gratitude to the Rubiriizi Archdeaconry Christians for their warm reception. He also extended thanks to the people of Nyabiteete for accompanying him to his new church, acknowledging their support.
