The incident, which occurred at an unknown time on the 14th of March 2024, came to light when Kitaburaza Francis, the area chairman of Nyabyumba village, received distressing news from a fellow villager, Ignatius, while he was at Kerere trading center. Ignatius informed Francis of a lifeless body floating along the shores of the picturesque lake.
