The chaplain of Katurika Secondary School in Rukungiri district, Rev Charles Godfrey Mugyenyi has called upon students especially candidates to abandon all forms of indiscipline and concentrate on books as they prepare for the final exams.

He made commented while addressing students of Katurika secondary school in Buhunga sub-county, Rukungiri district in a one-day retreat aimed at strengthening students’ relationship with God.
Rev Charles said it’s their culture to have such retreats and urged students to fight a good fight in faith in order to score high.
He said students should learn to pray for themselves to overcome hardships in life.

Mugunya Medard one of the teachers at Katurika secondary school, hailed their chaplain and headteacher for organizing a retreat saying that it is so important because students can pick a good message to change their lives.

A section of students, represented by the head boy and the head girl said that the retreat has created a great change as many received God in their lives and they hope to pray and concentrate on books to pass their exams.
