Police in Ntungamo District are investigating circumstances under which one block containing two male dormitories At Kyamate Secondary school was gutted by fire last evening at around 9:00PM killing one student that is yet to be identified and injuring three
According to ASP Samson Kasasira the Rwizi regional Police spokesman, The Police Fire and Rescue services responded and were able to contain the fire though the cause of the fire has not been established
Kasasira says the body of the deceased student was taken to Itojo hospital mortuary
Inquiries are still ongoing into the matter.
