Stakeholders have been asked to change from traditional approaches to more modern and result-oriented strategies if they want their schools to perform nationally.
The call has been made by Ms. Allen Kiyasiimire, the Headteacher at Kinyasano Girls high school Rukungiri while speaking to our reporter in an exclusive interview.
Her call came after the release of the 2022 UACE Examination results by the national Examination Body UNEB
Kinyasaano Girls high school posted an excellent performance according to the results released on Friday with all 35 candidates eligible for admission into higher learning institutions.
Ms Kiyasiimire noted that 30 of the candidates got 2 principal passes and are eligible for admission to University for degree courses while the remaining five can pursue diploma courses as they have attained the requisite passes
She attributes the performance to teamwork, saying for traditional schools the foundation bodies, staff, and students should team up and come up with different approaches to improve performance
She hailed parents, teachers, the community, and the media for the continued support that has enabled the school to perform better than it has been performing in the recent past
Ms. Kiyasiimire also noted that the change of attitude by both the teachers and students has spurred a spirit of hard work and is optimistic that the school will register continuous improvement
