The Assistant Town Clerk for Southern Division, Aheebwa Clara, has urged Ugandans to always consult technocrats to learn how they can improve their standards of living by inviting them to sensitize the public on how government programs should be implemented.
She made the remarks on Tuesday, 9th September 2025, during a council meeting of the division, noting that Ugandans have a right to be guided by technocrats in different areas such as agriculture, trade, human rights, health and sanitation, and government poverty eradication programs, among others.
She said most Ugandans still lack knowledge on how certain things should be done, yet government pays technocrats in different fields.
She therefore implored residents in the Southern Division to always consult these technocrats and invite them where necessary.
She added that, as authorities in the division, they are working in conjunction with top municipal authorities on roads in the division, especially in Kigaga Parish.
According to the Vice Chairperson LC3 Southern Division, they are looking forward to upgrading the Nyamayenje market, working on some roads, among other projects.
Additionally, Aturinda said they are lobbying for funds to complete the ongoing construction of division offices in Rwakabengo.
