South Ankole Diocesan Bishop Nathan Ahimbisibwe emphasized the importance of obedience to God’s commandments and natural laws for Christians to enjoy the blessings of the land.
He conveyed this message during the dedication ceremony of 36 P7 candidates from Kyamate Integrated Model Primary School at St Matthew’s Cathedral in Kyamate Ntungamo Municipality.
Bishop Ahimbisibwe urged the candidates, who were teenagers, to embrace Jesus Christ as their personal savior, highlighting that it would shape their future and make them individuals of great significance. Ninsiima Naome, the head teacher of Kyamate Integrated Model Primary School, expressed gratitude to Bishop Ahimbisibwe and the church for their support in the school’s development.
Ninsiima encouraged the candidates, stressing that success belongs to those who have faith in their dreams for the future, and she urged them to study diligently, acknowledging the efforts of their teachers. She also praised parents for entrusting their children to the school and assured them that the candidates would excel in their upcoming examinations.
Furthermore, the Chairman of the School Management Committee, Nakanya Joshua, and the Parent-Teacher Association representative, Katamirwa Kenneth, extended their appreciation to Bishop Ahimbisibwe and the school staff for their unwavering support.
